Budo Shop Has a Grand Opening in Asakusa!

What do I expect from Mitsuboshi Global?

At Mitsuboshi Global, you can start your adventure by getting your own gi. A gi is the special outfit people wear in martial arts like karate, judo, and aikido. They have sizes for kids and grown-ups, and you can pick one right off the shelf or ask for a custom one made just for you. The team will make it perfect if you get measured in the shop or send your size. It may take about a month, but they even ship it to other countries.

Already have your gi? No worries! You can still grab lots of cool budo gear like shin guards and sparring gloves. If you want something special, you can look through their brochure. You can order so much more, such as armor and kendo swords. 

For anyone who loves swords, Mitsuboshi Global has something really awesome. They sell katanas, which are famous Japanese swords. Some are just for show, but others are real. The prices are very different depending on what you choose.

If you’ve never tried karate, this is the place to start. Mitsuboshi Global has a one-hour karate class that’s perfect for beginners. A friendly teacher who speaks English will show you simple moves like punches. Only eight people can join each class, so you’ll get a lot of help. You even get photos and a cute karate belt to take home as a souvenir.

One of the cutest things in the store is the Hello Kitty martial arts collection. You can find Hello Kitty and her Sanrio friends dressed up like karate champs. Plushies, T-shirts, and keychains combine fun and fighting spirit.

Tokyo Isami

Tokyo Isami is a beloved budo shop in Shinjuku, just a short walk from the Southeast Gate of Shinjuku Station. It’s on the fourth floor of the Sagami Building and has been loved by martial artists worldwide for many years.
