For those who love Japanese snacks and Japanese candy, Japan's theme cafes are especially inviting with their amazing looking dishes, and we here at TokyoTreat are just as obsessed with them as you guys are! After visiting the Pokemon Cafe just after it opened earlier this year we were eagerly awaiting the chance to go back and eat deliciously cute Pokemon themed treats again! And as soon as they announced their special limited time summer menu we booked our visit straight away! The theme of the summer menu (apart from it being summer of course!) was Alola! So a lot of the dishes were the Pokemon cafe's take on Hawaiian dishes.
Let's take a look at what we ordered~
Snorlax Locomoco – Hamburger steak in gravy with white rice, a fried egg, star shaped tater tots, a salad and a side of minestrone soup. Snorlax's face was made up of some cheese on top! It was super tasty!!
Eevee Plate – A plate full of lots of different things to try! Eevee shaped fried rice, egg omelet, star shaped tater tots, pasta, salad and tomato stew! Again not only was the presentation great but the food tasty too, and if you paid extra you could get your very own eevee face shaped plate to take home too!
Ditto Fruits Bowl with Malasada – A delicious fruit pudding with Ditto's face, filled to the brim with fresh mango, strawberries, kiwi, blueberries and crunchy granola! Not to forget the perfectly cooked Malasada on the side~ All the fruit was perfectly ripe and sweet, this was a nice refreshing desert!
The cafe also had some cute summer themed decor!
And some special limited summer themed items! Too cute right? The Pikachu cookies were especially kawaii, and way too cute to eat!!
What did you think of the limited summer menu items we got? Do they look tasty to you? Would you like to visit the Pokemon Cafe? Let us know in the comments!

Many street styles have emerged from Japan, from maximalist decora to princess-like lolita fashion. However, likely none of them are as iconic as the Shibuya gyaru. Every spring, people across Japan wait for the Japanese cherry blossom season to begin. Streets, parks, and rivers slowly turn pink as sakura trees bloom. Families and friends gather outside to enjoy the warmer air.
Because it is located inside Yomiuriland, PokéPark is easy to add to a Tokyo itinerary. Let’s check it out.
Planning the right items turns a basic outing into a smooth experience where everyone focuses on the blossoms rather than last-minute hassles.
Typhoon season in Japan brings powerful tropical storms every year. These storms bring strong winds, heavy rain, and the risk of flooding or landslides. Coastal and southern regions are hit the hardest. They are similar to hurricanes in other parts of the world.
