We also know how to appreciate food that is so detailed and well thought out, which is why we fell in love with user en93kitchen's wonderful Studio Ghibli food themed Instagram! The food looks like it fell straight from the screen onto a plate! Check out some of the amazing dishes below!
We just want a massive slice of this incredibly well done cake from Kiki's Delivery Service! The real cake captures the essence of the film's cake! In addition, it adds a drool-inducing sheen that really makes you want to sink your teeth into this chocolate goodness!
Ponyo's popular ramen dish was also recreated! It looks like the perfect dish to sit down to after being out in the cold all day! The inviting broth, hearty meat, and perfectly done egg are just begging to be chowed down on!
These foods really took our spirits away! We gagged when we saw the perfectly arranged spread of Japanese snacks here! Spirited Away is one of our favorite Studio Ghibli films, so seeing these tasty looking snacks in real life was amazing!
Finally, we have a bento box from My Neighbor Totoro that looks so colorful and filling! We wish we could bring a lunch like this to work everyday! It just screams healthy, delicious, and satisfying.
Weren't all these just awesome!? We wish we had the culinary skills to depart on a cooking quest like this! Which of these Japanese dishes are your favorite? Let us know in the comments below!
