Earlier this month, a new Pokemon Cafe opened in Nihonbashi here in Tokyo! It is part of new Pokemon Center Store where you can find tons of Japanese candy, Japanese snacks, and tons of Pokemon swag. The new cafe portion has absolutely breathtaking food – not only is the food itself delicious looking, but it is Pokemon themed in such an adorable way! When we saw these foods, we just wish we could squeeze them into your monthly Japanese candy box. They actually also remind us of some really cute bentos that we came across the other day and really kawaii marshmallow Japanese snacks. For now, we will have to be satisfied with sharing this news with our TokyoTreat family! Check out some of these really awesome Pokemon Cafe dishes below!

The first meal that caught our attention was this Pikachu Curry. From the yellowed rice to the perfectly cut ear tips, everything about this dish is perfection. It represents Pikachu in a completely cute way that makes chowing down on this dish difficult.

Cool, creepy, and something that we are obsessed with! This Gengar drink is so incredibly creative. Using the cups to represent Gengar's face and then Japanese snacks to complete the tips on their head is a very unique idea. We wonder if we could include these Gengar Tip Snacks in our Japanese snack box! Haha!

How better to represent Snorlax than a giant slab of hamburger meat topped with cheese? This dish is a hearty meal that we envision Snorlax would love to gobble up before going back to nap again. Who knew a hamburger dish could be so lovably cute though?!

This Lapras parfait has a cute Lapras silhouette that captures the essence of Lapras in Japanese sweets form! Paired with ice cream, sauces, other Japanese candy and more, this parfait is a delicious icy Japanese snack that we think is a must get at the Pokemon Cafe.

Finally, you can't have a cafe without some hot drinks! This Pikachu beverage not only is topped with a Pikachu design, but it is also in a perfectly themed mug. If we had a Japanese mug box in addition to our Japanese candy box, we would include this without a second thought!

So, what did you think about these meals? Cute, right? Let us know in the comments below which dish stood out most to you.
