Japanese food, especially Japanese snacks and Japanese candy, always impresses not only with their wide varieties of flavors, but also with how cute it can be! We fell in love with super kawaii marshmallows and were stunned beyond words by these awesome Studio Ghibli dishes! In addition to those, we were charmed by Instagram user k.aaa.o.r.i.n.'s original and creative bento boxes! She generally themes them around animals or cute characters, and we are 100% about that! We wish we could send some of these to you in your Japanese snack box, but it may not arrive as cute. So for now, lets check out some of these cute lunches below!
These first bento boxes are adorable shiba inu designs! What we find so fascinating is how all the food manages to look so healthy, delicious, and cute at the same time. We would love to eat this for lunch, so then we could snack on all the dagashi that we want and not feel guilty!
The next bentos here are the popular Sanrio character Pompompurin! He is a cute Golden Retriever mixed with pudding! We are super curious how the rice was turned the perfect shade of yellow to match Pompompurin.
Now, while this may not be a bento exactly, we just couldn't help but include this lovable morning stew set! While the stew and bread look appetizing as is, creatively turning the bread into cute lil' chickens impressed us! We don't know if we could bring ourselves to eat the bread and hurt these little lovely creations.
The last bento set here features our favorite little Pokémon Pikachu and a fabulous Pokéball! Everything looks so kawaii that we just want to gobble it up!! We really wish we could stuff this design in particular into your Japanese candy box since it is perfection!
