Hello TokyoTreaters, it's Ayumi, again, founder of TokyoTreat. 🙂
I hope you have all been doing well, and are having a great year. Next month, April, TokyoTreat will be celebrating our 1st year anniversary. How cool is that? When we first began this business venture, our very first month, we were not sure how many people would invest in our snack service, OR if they ever would. Time after time, we would jump up and down excitedly when we'd see you guys picking up our service and enjoying our Japanese goods! It was really surprising! Thanks!
Throughout this year we have been pleasantly surprised and feel very lucky to have so many subscribers who enjoy our product. Our pride is to deliver you snack goods from Japan, from us to your doorstep, all over the world, and we are glad we can provide that to you.
We've been getting tons of positive feedback about many treats such as, "Super-Hot Flavored Ramune", "Genghis Khan Caramel", and "Coconut-Flavored Pocky", to name a few. They seem to be a hit among both young and old! We are proud that we can deliver you such limited Japanese goods within our subscription service, that you would not normally be able to aquire in local shops in your area.
Currently we are offering our beloved TokyoTreat subscribers a 1st Annniversary Lifetime Discount to show how grateful we are to you for putting your faith into our buisiness. If you have not looked into this discount yet, please click here to find out more!
In addition to the Japanese sweets that we offer, we are also building a candy and snack culture. Not only about the candy and snacks but the monthly events (which have been interesting to see the differences in various cultures around the world!). Keep those submissions coming!
We hope you learn a lot from us, too, between the information on the ancient culture of Japan as well as the newer, modern and popular culture. You can usually find snippets of this information within our TokyoTreat snack menus, delivered within your TokyoTreat boxes. Many staff members work on these menus to make it an enjoyable reading experience for you. So please, don't just eat the snacks, make sure you enjoy the reading material as well! 🙂
On the whole, TokyoTreat has matured to become an effective and most enjoyable Japanese snack and subscription service. We are so glad you love us! And believe us, we won't stop here!
The delicious sweets and snacks from Japan of old and new continue to surprise and delight our members, while also being able to teach a sense of uniqueness of Japan. We love that we can bring this important food culture to you, all over the world, for your enjoyment. We love you and we hope that you continue to stay tuned for more, with TokyoTreat.
Ayumi ^_^
Hi Nmarti, we’re extremely happy to read your kind words about our service!! We’re working super hard to make our boxes better and better, and hopefully you’ll continue to love the treats we send you! Thank you for the support! We wouldn’t be where we are without our amazing community! 🙂
I’ve been a subscriptioner for about 6 months now and with box I get more and more excited, the snacks are delicious, the box new form is beautiful and the suspension of “what’s this month gonna be” make it all worth it! Thank you so much for filling my japanese candy needs in the past half a year and to here’s to another one! Arigatou Gozaimasu!
You all do such a good job. You should all be so proud of what you’ve achieved in such a short amount of time. I for one love the magazine as much as the food, it’s amazing to read about Japan’s sights and festivals (really makes me want to be there to experience them for myself). As for the snacks, I love that you don’t just cater to western tastes, these are genuine current Japanese snacks that we receive and although not everything may be to my taste I try it all and I do enjoy the different tastes. Keep up the good work Tokyo Treat and Happy 1st Birthday (the first of many) 🙂
I’ve been a subscriber for 3 months now and I can happily say I’ll be with you as long as I can be, I love your subscription boxes! Not only do you provide more full sized snacks per box than other services, you put more effort into making boxes have a theme (like Pokemon in January, or Valentines in February) and more effort into finding awesome limited edition snacks. I’m so happy to be able to try things I cannot find here in the UK thanks to you. The magazine you include is such great quality and has lots of fun and useful information, I really enjoy learning about Japan as I try the awesome snacks. I look forward to the magazine as much as the snacks, haha! I love that you include events like Hinamatsuri and teach us about them while letting us enjoy themed snacks like the Hinamatsuri Caramel Corn, no other box does that. Plus I love that everyone has the chance to someday have their photo included in the magazine, that’s my goal; to take a good enough picture to get printed by you! Plus, you’re one of the few boxes that includes drinks and physical items like the sushi magnets- these are super special treats to me! Thank you so much for your awesome service! I’m looking forward to learning more about Japan and trying new things in the future ^__^
My daughter and I are new to your box and because we are pretty poor, I mean I get $125 bi weekly for workers comp cause I got injured at work and with the money I pay bills, (single mom here). then we have maybe $30 left for food each month. we don’t get government help just so people know. But my daughter and I follow your FB, twitter, instagram and Youtube pages. When she saw the Sakura Pepsi she was like we have to get that mom!(mind you she is 19 and on scholarship at the near by college.)
We tried some other sub boxes and one just was okay I did Vlogs on my channel of it cause I was given a 6month sub to it, and that is the only one I tried back then, and then I got the chance to try Okashda which they were pretty good. with the items being better than the first box (Japan Crate) which love to lie to their customers. Which made me upset, so yeah I don’t endorse them!
But back to you guys….. when we saw the quality of your items online and the care you take to the packaging ect… I was like okay this company looks like they really care. Once we get this box from you, I plan on doing a Vlog about it and will have to figure out how to do a collaboration with you because I have a very very good feeling about your box and all the wonderful things to come in it. But you can tell that you value your customers and the time you take to make sure that the items you send to your customers are top notch and things you can’t get even over here in the states.
I live in a small town and even with bigger towns around me, unless I want to drive 4 hours away I can’t even get half of the things others can. And even with the internet there are just some items you can’t order online without emptying your wallet. So this is a great way for us Japan lovers to get our Fix of things that we dream of one day having if we were able to go to Japan.
Arigatou Gozaimasu, for everything that you do.
Sincerely,
Tania LoNero aka Tania Loves Japan

Sou do Brasil e quero fazer a assinatura, mas o site não está liberando , que triste isso 🙁
I absolutly love your boxes. I searched a lot for Japanese Candy subscriptions and came across TokyoTreat by accident. Luckyly you ship free and you allow Paypal without credit card. That sounded like a dream! I used my first box (Feb 2016) as a present for a friends who is totally into Japan and everything related to it. He was freaking out about it! I really enjoy your boxes and love to share it with friends. It’s nice how you do all these contests and the monthly Lucky Treat. Thank you very much for your effort. Hope you can keep going on like this for a reeeaaalllly long time ^^
Lisa

Also, if I buy the April small box this month using the coupon ANNIVERSARY3, but next month for the May Box I want to upgrade to Premium Box, could I apply to it the Premium Box discount?

I only received one box from Tokyo Treat, but some time ago I tried other box subscription, and I can say that Tokyo Treat is very different.
It is not about filling a box with random snacks and sending it out. The theme (valentine’s in February box) and picking original snacks (you can find import pockys in a import shop, but try to find strawberry pockys with hearth shape, they’re not here!) make this subscription great,
And finally the little magazine, with not only info about the snacks. I enjoyed it so much so I learned a little more about Japanese culture, this is definitively a huge added value.
Hope to see a lot more anniversaries!
