In Nagano you can find a park, known as the Paradise of the Monkeys, that hosts many wild snow monkeys. They are beyond cute and watching them enjoy a warm bath is truly a sight to behold! Are you a history buff? Want an experience you'll never forget? Then you should most definitely visit Shirakawago, a historical village located in Gifu Prefecture, during the winter seasons. This old town has bested the test of time and has remained true to what older Japanese villages used to look like.
