New Year, New Box for TokyoTreat!

By now, we're sure you've noticed the big changes we've made to our website and also our boxes. We hope that you're just as excited about them as we are!! The new look took many late nights of coffee, and many great minds to land on what we think is a very exciting new chapter for us. After looking at every aspect of TokyoTreat through a creative lens, we are so excited to finally be able share it with you!

Without you, there is no us, and we appreciate that. That’s why we want you to be the first to know about the exciting improvements regarding our new box.  Here’s the details:

Stronger and better than ever!!

Did you notice that the new box is a lot sturdier than the old box? The stronger support allows the box to hold more weight than the old box which means it can fit more full sized Japanese candies! YAY! Our new box is designed to keep your candy safer and more secure inside, so hopefully your treats will always arrive at your doorsteps in mint condition.

Behind the illustrations

For the new look, we worked with Kinuten, an extremely popular graphic artist in Japan and famously known for designing AKB48 Mayu Watanabe’s CD Cover. We’re extremely lucky and excited to have him as part of the team!! His designs are so simple, fresh and fun – which is EXACTLY how we want our boxes to be!

The illustrations inside the box is to depict the exciting world of candy. The upper part of the box is dedicated to present a unique view of the Tokyo skyline. You can see symbolic buildings, temples, Japan’s iconic flowers – Sakura trees, the famous Tokyo Tower, and other landmarks that are the perfect epitome of modern japan today! Can you spot Mount Fuji, Japan’s highest mountain?

Underground, you’ll see our own little candy factory where TokyoTreat staffs work hard to pack all the candies. It’s pretty nice, don’t you think?? Don’t forget, TokyoTreat only sends the hottest and most popular snack trends of the season!

Once you’ve finished all the candies, there’s a little message from us to let you know that we can't wait to see you again next month! We hope you'll stay tuned for our next round of improvements. We can’t wait to continue to evolve and grow with you, and we’re excited to hear about what you think of our new look!
