SAKURA COLA
Sakura, which is the Japanese word for Cherry Blossom, is an iconic blooming tree that can be found all over Japan during springtime. Sakura season is one of the most anticipated times of the year, because during this time people from all over Japan including tourists, celebrate with picnics underneath the beautiful cherry trees.
With these tiny, beautiful, pink blossoms loved by locals and tourists, it’s no surprise if snack and drink manufactures take part in the sakura craze, leading to an abundance of sakura-themed treats in early spring.
In 2016, our special April Anniversary box had the world’s first ever Sakura flavored Pepsi, and it was a HUGE hit! Everyone was extremely hyped and the flavor of the drink itself really lived up to the expectations!! As you can see from the images tagged to us using hashtag #tokyotreat below, our subscribers really enjoyed the famous drink and even kept asking for more!!
Unfortunately, a lot of people missed out on the Pepsi Sakura, and we've been getting endless requests from our subscribers to include more sakura drinks. Please note that we listen to all requests and we're happy to make it happen!
Well, we've decided to include it in our April box again this year! This April, ALL TokyoTreat premium subscribers will enjoy a limited edition Pepsi Sakura or Sakura Cola! Curious to what cherry blossoms taste like? Now's your chance to give this limited edition drink a try!

I missed out on the Sakura Pepsi, which was too bad; but I am quite glad that this was announced to allow me to upgrade in time to try the next months Sakura Cola!
Now, I just have to try to be patient 😀

I am so excited, I can’t wait for June ヾ(*´∀｀*)ﾉ As for future products in boxes, I wish there would be other sakura flavored items like kit kats and such. That would be amazing!! Or even other flavored kit kats only available in Japan!!!! ((((:

Hi Vanna! Sakura season is only from March to April in Japan. This is the only time when sakura-flavored treats are released.
But we agree that we should put more of those in future boxes!! ^_^
You guys should do a drink box that comes with just one drink (and one snake?) per month, because honestly that’s one of the main things I’m interested in and since I’m from Canada one premium box is costing me like $45 and I’d much rather pay like $8-$12 for a drink and maybe one snake.

I would love to receive sakura matcha Kit kats in future boxes, I didn’t have the chance to try them during my stay in Japan!
I imagine shipping Sake is not a possibility, but that would be awesome too (or sake flavoured things? I only tasted sake Kit kats, but maybe there are other sake flavoured snacks..?)
