Have you ever felt that culinary urge to cook up some matcha flavored Japanese snacks for yourself? If so, Buzzfeed Japan has released a great walkthrough for some easy-to-make desserts you can indulge yourself in! We were drooling all over our keyboards as we looked through these matcha delights! So, first we want to introduce our favorite cooked desserts displayed on Buzzfeed Japan!

First, we have these delicious looking matcha muffins! The top of the muffin looks crunchy and sweet, which reminds us of our favorite melon bread found in local convenience stores. Those are absolutely mouth-watering! So, if these muffins are anything like those, but with a traditional matcha twist, we are certain these will be to die for!

Up next, there is an amazing recipe for how to make mochi matcha ice cream! We are shocked since this looks like a dish from a restaurant! This is the perfect dessert to pair with Japanese candies at home, especially on a hot summer day!

So, what is better to pair with ice cream than cake?! Still, if you are going to have matcha ice cream, why not make the cake matcha too!? The recipe for this cake looks very easy to make and the result looks absolutely stunning!

The final dessert, matcha tiramisu, floored us. Look at how rich and flavorful this looks! The white and green is a great contrast. Also, the matcha powder on the top is just so inviting!

If you are motivated to cook these Japanese snacks, check out the article here. It even has a great example video to help out non-Japanese speakers!

So, if you try out these recipes, let us know and comment how they turned out in the comment section below! Enjoy cooking!
