The relationship between Japanese girls and food seems to be an eternal conflict between self-imposed rules and overweening passion.
A recent online poll about conbini snacks showed what kind of food leads Japanese girls into little guilty pleasures.

1位 ドーナツ (Donuts) 👑
Surprisingly, the Donut is the king of the conbini! Coming in different flavours and textures it has a strong visual impact on youngsters. 🍩 🍩

2位 コロッケ (Croquettes)
Second place is Croquettes, with fried mashed potato as main ingredient. Everything's better when fried! 🤤
3位 肉まん (Nikuman)
Nikuman is the first of the 〜man in the list. "Man" is the Japanese name for the Chinese baozi, a snack made from flour dough and filled with whatever you want. The niku (meat) version is the most popular. 🍖
4位 ピザまん (Pizaman)
Same as Nikuman, but filled with mozzarella cheese and tomato, pizza style. 🍕
5位 チキン（ファミチキ、Lチキなど）(Chicken)
The chicken served as street food in the conbini is usually a small chicken steak with some spices on. Simple and delicious! 🍗

Karaage is the Japanese fried chicken. Usually in the same size as nuggets, it's served hot. Super hot. Lava hot. 🔥
